San Diego and Immigration

Immigration has always been a hot button issue not only for San Diego, but for the entire United States. Technically, it is not legal immigration in San Diego, that many citizens have a problem with, but illegal immigration. Many residents of the city feel that illegal immigration is a drain on the resources of their community and resources. The state of California is already drowning in debt and many of the residents of San Diego felt that the mitigationillegal immigration is cut back spending and contribute resources to the people of the United States who are lawfully within its borders.

To be sure, this debate is heated, not only in San Diego, but throughout the whole country. People fall all over the spectrum when it comes to illegal immigrants. Some citizens want all illegal immigrants rounded up and sent home. Others think that the solution to an amnesty for all currently live under the grantthe boundaries and the tight security for those who would try to sneak to the country in the future.

Some estimate that they cause the illegal immigrants, the social systems of San Diego, it is stretched too thin. Illegal immigrants are able to obtain if the welfare, food stamps, subsidized housing, driver's licenses and free health care, something to give the taxpayers a hard time to themselves, let alone someone to come in theCountry illegally.

Others insist that there is no way for sure what type of drain-if ever-are placing illegal immigrants on the San Diego talk-systems. There is no way to come and have a definitive amount of money that illegal immigrants will cost the city. Why is it a way to get this figure? The problem lies in the honesty of the people who asked about their citizenship. A person who is within the boundaries of the United States, not illegalprobably admit that they do not have permission to enter the country. Still other people find offensive, the questioning of their nationality, and refused to question the grounds that her birth nobody's answered.

Another problem that many residents of San Diego with illegal immigration came with the legality of U.S. citizenship. Compared to other countries, even those who are to share a common border with the United States, a U.S. --Citizens is relatively simple. Authorization, to live here is not complicated or convoluted. With such a simple "open door", San Diego residents wonder why those who come in illegally to take the initiative and not just right for permission to apply to live here.

What do you think? Do you believe that all people should be granted within the limits of the U.S. amnesty and be allowed to be citizens? Do you think everyone should be rounded off and sent home? AsWould you fund such an operation? Let your ideas and concerns in the comments box!
