Window Tinting Benefits

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Window Tinting In Atlanta Georgia:

Window Tinting in Atlanta has become a favorite add on to cars trucks and sport utility vehicles. The fact that window tint provides so many practical benefits is what has caused the popularity of this accessory to skyrocket. There is a common misconception that window tinting on any vehicle must be dark in order to be efficient. Glass tinting does not necessarily work that way. Although going darker has a slight heat rejection benefit, for the most part shades are just for privacy. You will only get slightly better performance choosing a dark window film for your auto.

Atlanta window tinting is enjoyed by individuals of all ages. After all, who wants to sweat in their car? In addition to heat rejection, window film provides UV light rejection as well, nearly 100% rejection with most films. There are also a lot of individuals that want it mostly for the cool custom look that tinting provides. If you pay attention to the car commercials on TV, you will see that the vast majority of the cars featured have dark window tint applied to all the glass, even the windshield in some cases. Cars with tinted glass just look better to the eye, and provides that finishing touch to the cars overall appearance.

Window tinting in Atlanta is also a great add on to help with fuel efficiency. Since tinting helps to cool the cars interior, the load on the air conditioner is not as great. You don't have to run your AC on high any more, which in turn will help to conserve fuel.

Reducing glare is also a benefit that window tinting in Atlanta will provide for you. Since the harsh light is reduced, you will not have to squint to make sure that you see other drivers. It is like wearing sunglasses for the most part, unless you are driving directly into the sun. Most states will not let you tint the front windshield at this time. You can usually put a strip across the top 6 inches of the cars front windshield. Each state has laws on the books that regulate the VLT or "visible light transmission". The laws concerning window tinting also varies from state to state.

The Atlanta window tinting law allows a VLT of 35% on all passenger cars. Trucks, vans, and sport utility vehicles are allowed to have any shade on any window behind the front 2 doors. The front doors are regulated to 35%. You can be issued a citation for having window tint past the legal limit and will be required to pay the fine associated with the violation.

Internet Marketing - Don't Put Off Until Tomorrow What You Can Do Today!

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Internet Marketing Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today! Putting things off in an Internet Marketing business can hurt your income. We all seem to do it! I don't feel like doing that today, I'll do it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and you get caught up with something else and forget to do what you needed to do or you just put it off again. In Internet Marketing as with any business when something needs to get done you should get on it. Don't put it off. As an Internet marketing business owner you will have things you don't like doing, we all do. If you keep putting them off they will never get done and you will be losing money.

Let's say you market your own physical product and you are making sales. You hate doing the shipping and you don't want to or can't pay someone else to come in to do it. Now you hate doing it so much you are putting it off and are only shipping once a week. This is causing you to hate it even more because when shipping day comes along now it is so piled up you may be spending 10 or 12 hours preparing products for shipping. This makes for a long day and causes you to hate shipping that much more.

As an Internet Marketer you need to think of some other things. Say your shipping day is Friday. You had 5 orders on Monday and have already been paid. You ship Mondays orders on Friday so they probably aren't going far over the weekend, now your customer will probably receive his product on Wednesday of the following week. If you would have bit the bullet and shipped his order Monday or at the latest Tuesday, the day after he ordered he would have had his merchandise the same week. Since you hate shipping he had to wait 10 or 12 days to get his products. Next time he may go somewhere else because he knows he will get his products faster. So now your hating the shipping end of your Internet Marketing business has probably cost you a repeat customer. So much of an Internet Marketing business or any other business is built around returning customers and you can't afford to lose that.

This is what I do. I make a schedule sometimes in my head and sometimes on paper of what I want to get done the next day. I try to schedule the things I don't really like to do first. Now I knock them out right off the bat and the rest of my day is a breeze!

Procrastination can be a business killer. If you procrastinate and put things you don't like doing off get out of that habit fast. Skinny Designer Jeans

Denim pants are the most popular outfits of young boys and girls all over the world. In fact jeans, be it blue or black or derived shades from these two basic colors, is almost an unwritten uniform code followed by youngsters the world over. Jeans is considered as their second skin by all its fans.

In fact one may find many young people eating and living and sleeping in their denim pants day in and day out. Those who call themselves as denim aficionados swear by its comfort factor and durability. In fact the older the denim, the better it looks over time.

Old tattered frayed and faded denim pants scream out attitude in bold letters and young things consider them as cool fashion accessories. Some of the common and trusted designer brands that jeans junkies prefer all over the world are Diesel, Guess, G Star, Wrangler, Levis Strauss, Lee etc.

Top fashion houses and high street fashion labels like Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, and Versace also bring out their regular collection of designer denim pants. Denim pants are available in different colors, shapes and cuts. Some of the common fits are regular fit, boot leg, bell bottom, hipster and skinny jeans.

Skinny jeans have made a comeback into the fashion scene a year back and are basically nothing more than skin tight denim pants which taper down the legs and fit snugly on your hips, knees and ankles. You can get them in both high waist and low rise styles.

They look best with empire line tops and sit pretty on long slender legs. Slim and trim pretty young things can carry off skinny jeans with élan. They make a person look thinner and are basically rehashed versions of tight fit jeans of times gone by.

The Future of the Internet--And How to Stop It

OK - Mike Liptak -
This book was way too long. Much of the book seems repetitive. That being said, there were some very interesting and valuable concepts explained in the book.
The Future of the Internet--And How to Stop It :

This extraordinary book explains the engine that has catapulted the Internet from backwater to ubiquity—and reveals that it is sputtering precisely because of its runaway success. With the unwitting help of its users, the generative Internet is on a path to a lockdown, ending its cycle of innovation—and facilitating unsettling new kinds of control.

IPods, iPhones, Xboxes, and TiVos represent the first wave of Internet-centered products that can’t be easily modified by anyone except their vendors or selected partners. These “tethered appliances” have already been used in remarkable but little-known ways: car GPS systems have been reconfigured at the demand of law enforcement to eavesdrop on the occupants at all times, and digital video recorders have been ordered to self-destruct thanks to a lawsuit against the manufacturer thousands of miles away. New Web 2.0 platforms like Google mash-ups and Facebook are rightly touted—but their applications can be similarly monitored and eliminated from a central source. As tethered appliances and applications eclipse the PC, the very nature of the Internet—its “generativity,” or innovative character—is at risk.

The Internet’s current trajectory is one of lost opportunity. Its salvation, Zittrain argues, lies in the hands of its millions of users. Drawing on generative technologies like Wikipedia that have so far survived their own successes, this book shows how to develop new technologies and social structures that allow users to work creatively and collaboratively, participate in solutions, and become true “netizens.”

Assign Marketing Budgets That Break the Bank!

Profit is achieved by maximising your margin on increased sales. Spending money on marketing wisely will mean your costs can be contained, while sales revenues increase. But how do you do that? This article discusses why measurement of everything, marketing that you do, is so vital.

Let's start off with some basic principles. You need to sit down and answer the following questions, if you really want to create a marketing budget that maximizes your profit.

* What is your average annual turnover? ......._______A
* How many customers do you have?................______B
* Customers less than a year old............______C
* Customers more than a year old .........______D
* What is your net profit margin? (%age) .........______E
* How many leads do you generate each year? ______F
* How much do you spend on marketing? .........______G

If you can convert more leads, by targeting better and closing more sales, then you will reduce your customer acquisition cost. I guess most of you will know where I am going with this, but it is remarkable how many people have not even done this basic exercise. In another article on CRM, I will refine this further, by helping you find out who your most profitable customers are.

OK, let's do some simple mathematics. To get how much each customer is worth to you do the following.

Customer Worth = (______A * ______E) / ______B - this is the Euro value of what each customer contributes to your wealth fund annually.

If you spend less than that on each lead, then either you are doing very well, or else you may need to spend more. Some marketing pundits, who want your money, suggest that you can afford to spend all of your profits, after your own salary, getting new leads. Personally 10-20% spent wisely can yield even better returns, as your business grows.

So how much do your customers actually cost to get?

Customer Acquisition Cost = ______G / ______C is this more than 20% of your Customer worth? If it is we need to look at two key things the first is your

Lead Conversion Ratio = ______F / ______C. If you can convert more leads, by targeting better and closing more sales, then you will reduce your customer acquisition cost. What's more, by analyzing which lead campaigns were successful insofar as they had the highest lead conversion ratios, you can target and focus better.

Conversely you could spend less on trying to get new customers, now don't just cut your budget, get a lot smarter in how you operate your lead generation programs!

So let's look at your existing customers. Are their ways that you could sell more to them? Sell additional products and services? It is said that it costs at least 5 times as much to sell to a new customer as it does to an existing customer.

Existing Customer Worth = (______A * ______E) / ______D

Simple mathematics again, either increase your existing leads generation budget by 1/5th and double your sales, or significantly reduce your lead generation budget and get better results and spend some of the savings on up-selling to existing customers.

In conclusion, by operating a smart lead generation campaign for customer acquisition while continuing to sell to existing customers, will reduce your marketing budget, increase your sales' revenues and break the bank with profit.

Sony Ericsson G700 Vs The Apple iPhone

Since the Sony Ericsson G700 and G900 counterpart is the attempt by the mobile phone companies to operate new touch-screen market niche opened by the Apple iPhone, it was natural that on one hand the comparison of the two parties, high-tech gadgets. I had problems finding an iPhone to test drive so I borrowed a friend, which means that durability tests are totally out of question. I can not afford to scratch, let alone a broken iPhone on loan for fear of beating my friendme up, to start.

E 'in the interest of fairness that I used the Sony Ericsson G700 for comparison with the iPhone, instead of the G900 Sony Ericsson G900 since this benefits of Wi Fi capability, and unfair to tip the balance scale in his favor. The G700, like the iPhone, it lacks Wi-Fi so that common sense that I want to pit the two against each other.

First area of interest is the storage of mobile phones because it's a big problem for people like mewho prefer mobile phones that have MP3 playback functions. At first glance, the iPhone could have a big advantage of storage on the Sony Ericsson G700, due to its 8-storage capacity than the Gigabyte G700 is slim 160 megabytes. However, you must remember that the G700 supports expansion through the use of Sony Memory Stick Micro, while the memory of the iPhone is not expandable. I think that the G700 wins the iPhone, if you buy a pair of extra memstick.

SonyEricsson G700, once the iPhone has the upper hand when it comes to capacity camera phone, with its 3.2 megapixel camera against the iPhone 2.0 is miserable. Indeed, careful examination reveals that the G700 is actually a more capable phone camera, with a wealth of additional features like image stabilizer, photo sets, built in flash. The same goes for their video capabilities.

When it comes to operating system, the G700 is able unjustly iPhone, not because of real technicalsuperiority, but because of bad business move by Apple. Third party Java software can be easily installed in G700, while the iPhone, although a very capable smartphone, you can only use programs that came from Apple itself, with the majority of service providers to block the support of others.

The appearance of the battery life comparison is from the new G700. With 12 hours talk time and 380 standby, will still be managing one or two hours after the iPhone is closed, withbattery life that lasts only as long as 8 hours during the conversation and250 hours standby.

Finally we arrive at a price. In the interest of fairness, once again, I will not bother the list of average prices, both the phone on the market. The Apple iPhone is incredibly expensive, and its average route is about 300% more than the G700. Now, I could not think of any decent reason to choose an iPhone other than the coolness factor. IPhone is very popular today, although like most peoplechoose a more expensive yet less functional iBook on an IBM laptop with similar specifications, but cheaper and more friendly to others, some people still prefer the iPhone. But for those of us who want every bit of value of our money, we can go with the Sony Ericsson G700. Coolness be damned.

Atlanta BBQ Sauce Recipe - Recipes From The Best BBQ Caterers In Atlanta

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Atlanta GA offers some of the best BBQ and has some of the best BBQ restaurants in the country. Atlanta BBQ sauces differ from some of its neighboring states. Most BBQ sauces have a few things in common. The main ingredients are tomatoes or ketchup, spices, something sweet like sugar or molasses and sometimes vinegar. Most of the BBQ sauces that I have tried in the Atlanta area has a strong tomato base. I think most of the BBQ restaurants use either tomato ketchup or sauce.

One of my favorite Atlanta BBQ sauce recipes is as follows:

Two table spoons of butter

One half of an onion chopped fine

One and one half cups of tomato sauce

One cup of cider vinegar

One teaspoon of liquid smoke (You can find this in most grocery stores)

One quarter cup of brown sugar

One teaspoon of salt

One teaspoon of fine black pepper

Cayenne pepper to taste (Maybe about 1 teaspoon)

One table spoon of yellow mustard

You will need to melt the butter in a sauce pan and then brown the onions until soft. Add the other ingredients and simmer for twenty minutes.

If you want a hotter sauce then just add more cayenne pepper but be careful. Keep in mind that the sauce will seem spicy when it is warm. Once the sauce cools it will not taste as spicy. The liquid smoke adds a unique twist but be careful because using too much will ruin the batch of sauce.

I love BBQ and this sauce is one of my favorites. Give it a try at your next barbeque.

The Invisible Woman of the Great Depression

During the Great Depression, women accounted for 25% of the workforce, but their jobs were more unstable, temporary or seasonal than men, and the unemployment rate was much higher. There was a decided bias in the cultural sphere and that "women do not work" and in fact many of those who were employed full time, often called "housewives". Neither men in the world of work, unions, or any other branch of government are ready to accept the reality of working women, and that damage caused femalesintense distress during the Great Depression.

The 1930 was particularly difficult for single, divorced or widowed, but it is even more difficult for women who were not white. Black women had to overcome stereotypes, both sexual and racial. Northern black women has been an impressive 42.9% unemployment, while 23.2%. White women were unemployed according to the census of 1937. In the South, the two women in black and white were also unemployed at 26%. In contrast, the unemployment ratefor men in black and white in the North (38.9% / 18.1%) and South (18% / 16%, respectively) were lower than their female counterparts.

The financial situation was bleak even in Harlem, before the Great Depression. But then, the emerging class of black labor in the North has been decimated by layoffs of large industrial workers Noire. Being black and a woman alone, without keeping a job or find another almost impossible. Work racial hierarchy women replaced black or waitressdomestic work, white women, so desperate for work and willing to take steep pay cuts.

Survival entrepreneurs
Early depression, and one study found that homeless women are more likely service and factory workers, domestic workers, textile workers, boys and beauty, another suggested that industry beauty has been a major source of income for black women. These women, later known as the "survival entrepreneurs" became autonomous in responsedesperate need for some form of independent living. "

Replaced by white women in the more traditional domestic work as cooks, waitresses, nurses, laundresses, even skilled and educated black women were so desperate,''which was actually offered their services markets ", called" blocks Slave where Negro women gathered waiting white housewives who came every day to present their offers and pay down withdrawal''(Boyd, 2000, citing Drake and Cayton, 1945/1962: 246). Furthermore,Service Home Interiors has been very difficult if not impossible, to coordinate with family responsibilities, as is usually the Maid of guardia''circa''l'orologio and was subject to potere''arbitrario individual employers. '

Inn Keepers and hairdressers

Two occupations were sought by women of color to address both the need for income (or articles of barter) and their domestic responsibilities in northern cities during the Great Depression: (1)board and lodging house keeping, and (2) hair and beauty culture.

During the "Great Migration" of 1915-1930, thousands of Southern blacks, mostly young, single men, facing the northern cities in search of places of temporary residence while seeking housing and jobs . The hosting of these migrants created opportunities for working-class Black women, and now unemployed to pay the rent.

According to one estimate,''at least one third of famiglie''Nerourban North had tenants or boarders during the Great Migration (Thomas, 1992:93, citing Henry, 1976). The need was so great, most residents have been accommodated by taking a survey of families in Northern black report inquilini''settantacinque percent of black households have so many who are actually hotels.''

Women are usually the center of these layers of family networks and communities within the black community:

"They help intrapreso''la most carico''dinewcomers find temporary housing. Women Role svolto''un North leadership''nel connective black community, not only because it was considered traditional "women's work", but also because, taking in boarders and lodgers helped women balance work Black home with informal income-producing activity (Grossman 1989:133). In addition, boarding and lodging house keeping is often combined with other types of self-employment. Some black women who have kept residents and tenants also obtainedmoney making artificial flowers and shades at home. "(Boyd, 2000)

During 1890-1940,''barbers and parrucchieri''sono been the largest segment of the population of blacks, who together represent approximately one third of the population in 1940 (Boyd, 2000 Oak mentioning, 1949:48) .

"Blacks tend to gravitate to professions such as white barbers, hairdressers and beauticians are willing or able to style the hair of blacks or for the preparation of hairand cosmetics used by them. Thus, Black barbers, hairdressers, beauticians and had desires of consumers un''mercato on protette''basato White entitled "The social distance from Blacks and needs of Black consumers. Therefore, these black entrepreneurs have been protected from outside competition and monopolize the cultural beauty and hairdressing trades within their communities.

Black women who sought employment believes that his appearance was a crucial factor in researchjobs. Black self-help in the northern cities, such as Urban League and the National Council of Negro Women, stressed the importance of good grooming for newcomers in the southern black women, advising them to have clean hair and clean nails when seeking employment. Especially, the women said they avoid making public antipolvere''in stracci''testa''e''cappucci (Boyd, 2000, citing Drake and Cayton, 1945/1962: 247, 301; Grossman, 1989:150 -151).

These warnings have beenparticularly important for those seeking secretarial work or white collar, black women needed to smooth hair and light skin to have a chance to obtain these positions. Despite difficult times, beauty salons and barbershops were the most numerous and vital Black-owned businesses to black communities (e. g., Boyd, 2000, citing Drake and Cayton, 1945/1962 :450-451).

Black women entrepreneurs in the urban North also opened shops and restaurants, with modest savings''as a means of ensuring a life''(Boyd, 2000, citing Frazier, 1949:405). Chiamato''imprese depression,''these companies are often considered marginal individual entrepreneurs, although they tend to operate from da''case, basements, and old buildings''(Boyd, 2000, citing Drake and Cayton , 1945/1962: 454).

"The grocery stores and eating and drinking places were the most common of these companies, because otherwise, their owners could still live theirstocks.

"The White Protestants Only"
These companies are a necessity for women of color, as the preference for hiring whites has risen sharply during the Depression. In Philadelphia, Office of Public Employment in 1932 and 1933, 68% of work orders for women specified "Whites Only". In New York, black women were forced to go to separate agencies to Harlem in search of work. Black churches and church-related institutions, a traditional source of aid to blackcommunities have been overwhelmed by demand during 1930. Municipal shelters needed to "accept all" still reports that Catholic women and African Americans are "particularly difficult to place".

No one knows the number of homeless women in their thirties black, but it is certainly remarkable, and invisible to investigators mostly white. Instead, the media chose to focus on and awareness of the situation of white, homeless, Middle-collar "white working class" workers, because for1931 and 1932, the spread of unemployment of the middle class. White collar and a university education for women, generally used "to regular employment and stable home, has become the" new poor ". We do not know the roaming charges for these women, beyond a hypothesis, but of all the homeless people in urban areas, 10% were suggested by women. We know, however, that the demand for female beds in shelters rose from a little "more than 3,000 in 1920 to 56,808 in 1932 in a city and another,From 1929 -1930, demand has increased by 270%.

"Having an address is a luxury now ..."
Although these beds, however, were the last stop on the path of homelessness and are designed for "generally poor" women, and to avoid at all costs those who are homeless for the first time. A finite number in shelters, but most still have not been registered with an agency. Resources are scarce. House of emergency was limited to families with dependent children until 1934."Having an address is a luxury that only now" a woman said an unemployed social worker college in 1932.

These poor women in urban areas have recently been shocked and amazed, resulting from an unemployment office for the remainder next to Grand Central or Pennsylvania Station, then riding the subway all night (the room five-cent ") or sleep in the park, and ate in the denier of the kitchen. Slow to seek help and fear and shame of begging, these women have often been on the point ofstarvation before asking for help. They were, according to a report, often "the saddest and hardest to help." Women "hunger slowly in furnished rooms. They sold furniture, clothing, and their bodies. "

Emancipated women and gender myths
If the cultural myths that women were not "worked" and those who were invisible. Their political spokesman was silent. Sex role has asked that women are "poor relative of someone who"returned to the farm cottage in difficult times to help at home, and took shelter. This food idyllic, mythical pre-industrial family homes were large enough to accommodate everyone. The new reality was much darker. Urban Flats, aunts, great as two or three rooms, needed "girl or" cousins "only" get by ". What remains of the family was often strained, oppressed, the overpopulated family which often contain seriousinternal strife.

In addition, few other than African-Americans were returning to rural roots. And it assumes that once the emancipation of women and tasting success in the past were "malleable". The role of women was a myth of the Out-of-date, but it was still powerful. The "new woman" of the Roaring Twenties was left faceless social during the Great Depression. Without a home - the epitome of femininity - was, ironically, ignored andinvisible.

"... Good Neighbors was extended beyond human endurance."
In fact, over half of these women who have never been married, while others have divorced, abandoned, separated or alleged to be widowed. We do not know how many women lesbians. Some were dependent parents, brothers and sisters who depended on them for support. Fewer have children living with their extended family. Women's wages have been historically low for the majority of female jobs, and hasSmall capacity substantial "savings" for emergencies, but most of these women were financially independent. Milwaukee, for example, 60% of those seeking help had been self-supporting in 1929. In New York, the figure was 85%. Their work available was often the most volatile and risky. Some had been unemployed for months while others for a year or more. With savings and insurance are gone, used their informal social networks. A social worker in 1931, late, had aSenate Committee that "good neighbor has been extended not only beyond its capacity, but beyond human endurance."

Older women are often discriminated against because of their age and long history of living outside of traditional family systems. When work is available, often known as the work has been done in Philadelphia, an application of white reporters and clerks, under (age) 25. "

The Invisible Woman
The effect of the Great Depression on women, then, asnow, is invisible to the eye. Tangible proof of Breadline, Hooverville, and men selling apples on street corners, do not contain images of urban women. Unemployment, hunger and homelessness was considered a "man" and the anguish and despair has been measured this way. In photographs and new, urban poor women have been neglected or not apparent. It was considered improper for a woman homeless, and are often hidden from public view, openedthrough doorways backwards, and fed in private.

In part, the problem was expectations. Homeless, while among men it was inflated periodically during periods of economic crisis since the Great Depression of 1890, a large number of homeless women "in house" are a new phenomenon. Public officials were not prepared: no children, were initially excluded from emergency shelters. A building with a capacity of 155 beds and six beds, has presented more than 56,000 "read" inthe third year of depression. However, these figures do not take into account the number of women refused because they were not white and Protestant.

As the depression wore on, who just want a way to make money, these women were excluded from the New Deal programs of work for helping the unemployed. The men were regarded as "breadwinners", a greater demand for participation in economic resources. While awareness and charities finally did emerge, were often insufficient to meetapplication.

Considering that black women were particularly hard time integrating participation in the economy during the Great Depression, which had some chance of finding another job within their communities, because of migration patterns only occurring during this period. White women, however, had the chance to keyhole when they were young and considerable skill, even if their skin color alone has given them greater access to all traditional work wasyet available.

The rejection of traditional gender roles and the desire for emancipation, however, put these women at high risk when the economy collapsed. In any case, single women, skin, both black and white, fared no worse and were invisible disease.

At the dawn of the Second Great Depression, which will be the new "invisible homeless" and women as a group to do better this time?
