ECW - A WWE money maker or not?

It is possible for ECW to be resurrected from the grave? Maybe. After a long sabbatical from television, ECW is back on June 13, 2006 on the Sci-Fi Network. The show definitely left much to be desired. Granted that received a score of 2.7, but can survive without this mark in cross-promotion program's flagship WWE Raw? I think time will tell ...

Let's face it ... ECW will never be what it was. ECW really originally started making a nameitself after the promotion has been taken over by Paul Heyman in 1996. ECW was the focus of many future stars like Rob Van Dam, Rey Mysterio, Mick Foley, and others. The promotion has become very popular among fans because it is robust, no-nonsense, innovative, hardcore, and unique style of wrestling. It was not like "Sports Entertainment", which was supplied to us by the WWE. The film was a "cult" among others on the Internet. The ECW fans were as much a part of the show aswrestlers were. Many had made the mark so close to their hearts. Many were crushed ECW when he became bankrupt in April 2001.

Now, WWE is trying to revive the phenomenon that was ECW. However, there are anomalies in the test. Some veterans like ECW Sabu, for example, are well worn. Sabu is pretty divided today than it was.
