In fact, shotcrete is a generic term used to describe the process of spraying concrete or mortar or using a technique of applying wet or dry.
Gunite, on the other hand, refers only to the dry mixing process in which the mixture based on dry cement is blown through atube to the nozzle, where water is injected immediately before application.
