The communication revolution? - T-Moblie Google G1

Fresh market on Wednesday was T-Mobile, the new smart phone, the G1. A new phone to say the least, the G1 features Google's first attempt at a mobile operating system, namely the android. Built by HTC, and assisted in the design of Google, the G1 has the full functionality of T-Mobile 3G sparse but growing 3G network.

The Good:
Not a first brick, but is not as elegant as the iPhone. Despite its size, is still quite compact and relatively lightweight, especially if one considers the full QWERTY keyboard built into the phone. HTC and Google could be easily modified design, but only a touch screen and in turn greatly reduces the size, but where's the fun in that? Would a clone of the iPhone.

System Android. By far one of the operating systems most beautiful phone I've encountered. What is really useful is the phone menu bar that can be drawn from the top of the screen in any application (with some games). Makescontrol messages, review of missed calls, and all general notifications incredibly simple and efficient.

Although not yet embraced a whole, can be very powerful in the future and would Marketplace G1S running the Android operating system, where each publisher, and release its software for public sharing. Software as a scanner bar code, a follower of music, and a producer of cards are all easily accessible. The possibility for any programmer to create software that couldcreate a multitude of applications for the phone and make it possible interest to use without limitations.

By far one of the most important and most interesting is the construction of the keyboard. Terribly important functions E 'and easy to use. The buttons are slightly beveled so that you can be on each key, but not significantly swell.

The integration of YouTube is phenomenal. For an operating system designed by Google, you can expect the G1 YouTube application to be top notch. The videos are carefully organized into different categories and is very easy to research.

For what its worth, the G1 will not disappoint you, but not surprising. Generally solid and a great leap for the Google Android - some changes for next version and a new "gold standard can be defined.

The Bad:
Firstly, the G1 is no iPhone killer. Although impressive, the G1 needs to solve some serious problems before starting to pinch wallets Apple. Firstly, andProbably the most obvious is the swivel screen with bells. It is a bit "wobbly, and makes a little squeak when pressed. Not a big deal, but still something that should have been resolved. Thereafter, the design is somewhat" uncertain. Lack of elegance polished iPhone and has a chin "strange" at the bottom. The G1 also lacks multi-touch, once again, even if not the biggest deal, because that's the price and design, these things should have been included in the package. The little things also plague the G1 --things like not having a stock screen software keyboard and the inability to record video. Finally, the media need of revamping. Music and software for playing media needs a good kick, since these series are not good. It must also be a jack for headphones, a USB port is not primitive. It is quite ridiculous as HTC, producer of many other smart phones that all have a standard headphone jack could decide to take him, perhaps his biggest launch to date.

That all saidIndeed, the G1 is similar to when the first version iPhone. It was pretty solid, but customers still had their complaints. But after an examination and determination of the issues, it has become even better, namely the iPhone 3G and refined today. If T-Mobile, Google and HTC knows nothing of perpetuating their market, they would release a second edition of the G1 too. The ironic name of G1 has the perfect name for future models. My guess is that the next will be calledG2 "" G3 ", and so on.

They are great hopes for the G1. The Android operating system is surprisingly easy to use and easy to use. No iPhone killer yet, but if T-Mobile, Google and HTC has released a refined version, Apple and AT & T should look far.

So, if Google, HTC, T-Mobile or will ever read what follows is the minimum changes should be made to the G1.

1. Stark staring at the screen - The sound makes you feel a little cheap.
2.Headphone Jack Please!
3. A little memory "of Commons would be more beautiful. 1 gigabyte just does not cut in recent days.
4. Multi-Touch. The whole process so far and you will be equal in terms of hardware in the Apple.
5. More stylish design and soft. Get rid of the chin "that protrudes from the bottom. Was it really necessary?
6. Add some 'best of software for playing music not to mention better camera software.
7. Expand 3G coverage. (T-Mobile, if you plan to sell morethese, you need to build towers that support the full functionality of 3G services.)
