Snowboard Summer Practice - the springboard

May I begin to sound redundant always talking about trampoline but that's because the trampoline is more than a snowboarder could own! With the exception of slides and presses, which require some sort of barrier to implementation, all shots are always trying snowboarding should first be mastered on the trampoline. Just spinning and jumping on a trampoline will not help you in snowboarding though.

The following statement may confuse some of you, but learn something about aTrampoline is different to take on a snowboard. So how a trampoline to better help you on your snowboard, then? Here are some tips and techniques to use on your trampoline that will be beneficial if you bring them back to the snowboard slope.

Only soft!

We all know that these sources can snap and fly. What I could not imagine anyone now they are prosecuted and these really lame trampolines with elastic wraps instead of metal springs. TheResult: an almost unusable trampoline. Do not rush right, do not bounce high, and is a huge waste of money and time.

So, using the suggestions on this article, I spoke of a metal spring trampoline. Originals. Usually you can get super cheap just by looking at your penny saver or announcements. Trampolines are big cumbersome objects that people like to go out of their lawns once the kids grow up (I never grew up though ... sorry mom). I found mine for a large$ 40 and lasted more than two years.

Appetizers

JUMP! The first thing to do with your trampoline is jump higher in the air, as you can. A few things to concentrate are how are the jump times and the orientation of your body in the air.

Once your body leaves the ground all types of trunk muscles (internal muscles that you can not see, even if you workout all the time), will be open and try to maintain your level and stable air. If you're waving your arms upthe passage of air in any case, then that's where the trampoline will help you.

Hop you get use to be in the air. If you want to add more authenticity you can strap a snowboard (just remember to save the banks so they do not tear your trampoline). Now you're ready to practice some grabs.

Take any point on the map is possible (from biding only) And just because you play a little. "Adding your own little touches that you will be seduced by the trampolineto distinguish yourself and develop your style on the slopes snowboarding. For the nose and tail grabs make sure you grab the tip of the Commission itself every time!

Spins / Inverts

This is a trampoline, where it can be really handy. Now spinning / turning on a trampoline is completely different to do around your snowboard ... there is no rush job, not a transition, not the speed involved in the equation, but ...

We do not just throw a 540 without knowing how it feelsto rotate a spin and a half. That's where the trampoline comes in.

When spinning/flipping on a trampoline there are several things to take into consideration:

1. Your orientation: are your legs tucked, are you relatively flat based in the air.

2. The windup: Concentrate on how you are initiating the spin. This will help you gauge how much force you need to bring the rotation around on the slopes.

3. Head position: Where are you looking as you do the spin? Think about going around your table. Where do I seek to bring the trick around completely? At what point during the rotation to place your landing zone?

4. Landing: You are landing a full tour of Nice? Think your Edgeworks. The nice thing about snowboarding is that if you turn around, you can kind of recover by sliding it through after the landing ... but you must make sure they land on the edge that runs counter not only to dig in the snowScorpion landing.

In any snowboarding trick rotation can expect to fly blind through the air at any given time. The practice questions in the air on the trampoline eliminates a lot of speculation, leaving only your approach to understanding the passage.

Especially with inverts, you want to be landing on your back on a trampoline not hard snow pack. Reverse head and neck in a batch "of the danger, you must be sure that you will land on yourstanding in a certain degree, before trying on the hill, and here comes into play a diving

Once you start understanding these tricks more strap on a snowboard and start throwing in some grabs. Take a few rotations little help ... you play with him and find what works best for you.

Rails / Boxes

How can you make a rail snowboard on a trampoline? Well, they're not going to engage the slide that's for sure. First you go to spray paint or draw aBand line down the center of your trampoline. This line represents the box or rail.

See where I am getting? Now, you choose a frontside, retro, switch or regular and jumping. And a practice especially for 270 and higher. It is a great way to get used to being the target while spinning.

How do you find this is Gong want to pay attention to several important aspects of the hill: Make sure that there was a bead on where the line is underneath you, youassistance so that much later, when you can put the dead one lap each time.

Also keep in mind that if it were a rail or box slip after the fact ... therefore take into account as would the angle of your body weight and plain on the basis of slides.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the execution of turns on the hill before going to try 270 and so on, because even if you know how to complete the rotation and adjust the angle of the blade, you need to be comfortable launching atransition and getting your snowboard to go where you want.

This is pretty obvious but you should know and be pretty comfortable with all the slides and presses on all the kinds of jibs before you start going after 270s.

That's my trampoline snowboard practice guide. I cannot stress enough that these are only a means to an ends and you will still have to do a bit of tweaking to make it work on hill with your snowboard. I hope it helps or at least kills some of your summer downtime waiting for those local snowy mountains again.
